Battery woes

A piece of my bike dynamo charging equipment was in the luggage, and I needed that to be able to charge batteries on the road. In fact, Gabe was counting on that, too. So we are forced to be extremely judicious about battery usage, charging up when we can at lunch stops, etc. If we stop posting, it's probably because we ran out of juice.
