Lunch was at a decent pizza place. Everywhere we've been, there's been Australians. How does this happen? Been slowly building up the courage to ask.
We bought our own hatchet at a hardware store -- it's just going to make us more independent for fire creation. Weirdly, I had my own hatchet at home but never thought to bring it.
Then I had to carry the hatchet up our hike of Tunnel Mountain, a legitimate summit of the Canadian Rockies.
We had to shop for 4 meals, given how remote the next stretch of the route is:
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, breakfast.
Probably won't be a signal out there.
Tonight is some "cheap" fast food and then a long night by the fire. We open tomorrow with the 3rd major climb of the tour, then a downhill stretch into our campground.
